PRYME BLU BLUETOOTH ADAPTER FOR MOTOROLA COMPATIBLE TWO WAY RADIOS
The PrymeBLU Adapter BT-503 allows you to use a compatible wireless Bluetooth headset or other audio accessory with your two-way radio. The PrymeBLU Adapter is compatible with thousands of off the shelf consumer audio accessories and pairs easily, allowing you to operate wirelessly. If you have a Dual Sync Bluetooth headset you can pair your Motorola two way radio and your cell phone with same headset so you will never miss a call or a broadcast again... the ultimate in multitasking.
The PrymeBLU BT-503 can now be used with 2 PTT switches at the same time. For example you can use the PTT built into either the BTH-200 or BTH-SPM100 with either our BT-PTT or BT-PTT2 AT THE SAME TIME! Normally you might use the wireless PTT built into the BTH-200 headset or BTH-SPM100 Speaker Mic but NOW with the UPGRADED Model you can also have either the BT-PTT or the NEW BT-PTT2 (wireless PTT switches) mounted on your handlebars or steering wheel. The PrymeBLU BT-503 come with an optional longer cable for better range and easier to reach PTT button. Note that this version comes with a clothing clip. If selected you will not get the Velcro or BeltClip version. The standard cable length is 7-8 inches.
The Talk button on the PrymeBLU Adapter will function as a Push-to-Talk button for your two-way radio once a wireless audio accessory is successfully paired to the adapter. The PrymeBLU Adapter is supplied with a rubber Friction Pad. This pad provides additional protection and stability when using the Velcro Fastener to attach the adapter to a radio or other location.
The BT-503 PrymeBLU Adapter has an internal Lithium Ion rechargeable battery pack which must be charged prior to operation, and must be recharged regularly. A fully charged battery will provide approximately 10 hours (or more) of operation before needing to be recharged, however, operating time can vary depending on usage and the condition of the battery pack. Recharge the battery regularly.
Multi-function Talk Switch Used to place the PrymeBLU Adapter in pairing mode. Once paired with an audio accessory, this switch is used to activate the Push-To-Talk function of the two-way radio. If you don't select the Optional Longer Cable, a Velcro Fastener or Belt Clip is used to attach the PrymeBLU adapter to the two-way radio or to the user’s belt, lapel or around the Radio as shown in one of the pictures above. The LED flashes messages that let the user know the current status of the PrymeBLU Adapter.
Once your PrymeBLU Adapter and wireless Bluetooth headset have been paired together you will be able to monitor received signals that will be heard over your Bluetooth headset’s speaker. When transmitting, the operator’s voice is picked-up by the microphone in the Bluetooth headset. The Push-to-Talk can be activated by pressing and holding the Talk button on the PrymeBLU Adapter or by using an optional PrymeBLU Wireless Bluetooth PTT (model BT-PTT, sold separately).

PRYME Radio Products warrants this product against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of retail purchase.PRYME will repair or replace a defective unit, at our option, without charge for parts or labor. The limited warranty is extended only to the original purchaser and is valid only to consumers in the United States and Canada. It does not cover damage or failure caused by or attributable to Acts of God, abuse, misuse, improper or abnormal usage, faulty installation, improper maintenance, lightning, or other incidences of excessive voltage, or any tampering or repairs by other than a PRYME authorized repair facility. It does not cover replacement of consumable parts, transportation costs, or damage in transit. Repair or replacement under the terms of this warranty does not extend the terms of this warranty.
This warranty can only be modified by an office of PRYME Radio Products, and then only in writing. Should this product prove defective in workmanship or material, the consumer’s sole remedies shall be such repair or replacement as provided by the terms of this warranty. Under no circumstances shall PRYME Radio Products be liable for any loss or damage, direct, consequential, or incidental, arising out of the use of or inability to use this product. Pryme Blu BT-503 Motorola Bluetooth Adaptor
Works well. I pair it with my AfterShokz Aeropex. Key to pairing/connecting is the order in which to power on: plug the adaptor into the Motorola radio with both turned off. Then turn on radio, then power up the adaptor, then power on the AfterShokz headphone.

Works as advertised. Easy to pair and set up. I use it with my bluetooth adapter for my hearing aids on a motorola radio. Works great.

Not Sure!
I was really looking forward to using a wireless headset with my work radio, I ordered the suggested headset to go with the BT-503. But it looses connection even though the 2 are within a few feet of each other. the suggested headset works very well with my phone, but is very muffled and sometimes doesn't work with my Motorola dtr-550 radio..

Just what I needed
I needed this for my work. I have to use a radio and recently had to get hearing aids. So by making the radio Bluetooth. I can stream the sound directly into my hearing aids with the help of a adapter that receives the Bluetooth signal and sends it RF to the hearing aids. Most likely will get the remote button to key the mic also.

Have had static and poor audio quality for the unit. I know it is not the headset since it works fine on my cell.
